So the Christmas post didn't work!

But here is a little update on the big man. Marcus turned 4 on the 26th and since I've been feeling sick more and more these days I decided to make it easy on myself and have the party at the mall and the children's museum. He loved it. He is wild as ever and has some new favorite things:
Tv show- Food channel- Chopped and Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, also loves HGTV for House Hunters and Holmes on Homes. He's hilarious asking to watch these shows!
Favorite thing to do- race his cars
Favorite food- apples and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Wants to be a "fixer guy" when he's grown up (construction worker)
He still looooves music, bands, playing guitars and drums.
He's grown and inch and a half since July and is in a size 13 shoe and 5T if not 4/5 or 5/6 for clothes. He's going to outgrow me faster than I was prepared for!
He's a sassy one and loves to prove you wrong. Sounds like someone I might know... ;)

Summer- oh what a fun summer!

We have just had a blast this summer. Lots of running around, swimming, vacationing, etc. I could not have asked for a better summer! What a blessing to be off of work and have the whole family all to myself. Marcus is growing like a weed and getting smarter by the day! He's really ready to go to preschool in September. More ready than I am to let him go! Oh well, he's going to grow up whether I like it or not, I better start liking it! March!

So March was a fun month. Marcus has really shown his personality lately. He's our "family coordinator" as I call him. He loves to tell everyone what to do :>). We went to the fossil gorge twice, the johnson county historical museum, we've been outside and exercising a lot and more fun stuff. He's really picked up on putting on his shoes and clothes and getting all the way ready! He's growing like a weed. We moved him to a big boy car seat yesterday too which he just loves because he's "just like elly" now. He's finally eating again after a month long self induced starvation diet and his favorites are cantaloupe, goulash, bacon and sausage. He's really getting excited for this summer and swimming!!

this winter

This winter has been a looooong one! Here are some pictures from Dec-Feb. Not too much going on but Marcus is really talking a lot! Marcus loves dinosaurs still and really likes to wear that rubber nose that is in that picture. It is kind of freaky!
